Urine Collection Protocol
Urine Specimens can be collected for drug, nutritional, chemical exposure and forensic litigation testing:
Following is the collection protocol for providing an acceptable specimen for testing:
	Get a clean, sterile (if possible) plastic container with tight fitting lid.
	Catch a mid stream clean specimen approximately 45 ml or 1-2 ounces.
	Cap the container tightly.
	Place container in a second sealable biohazard bag.
	Place the sealed specimen along with the Requisition for Testing in a small box or bag and
	send to ExperTox laboratory in Airborne Express or another overnight courier.

Note: It is not necessary to place specimen on ice if using overnight service.
